So who are we and what do we do?

Our goals

Women of Color in Cannabis (WOCC, pronounced WOKE!) aims primarily to do two things:

  • To ensure the burgeoning cannabis industry is friendly to women and BIPOC folks as consumers, employees, and entrepreneurs;

  • And to foster women of color in leadership at the highest levels in the legalized cannabis space.

Our Purpose

We exist to relieve the issues Women of Color face in the cannabis industry through community organization, education, and events. We do this by:

  • Facilitating connections between our community members and business leaders;

  • Creating opportunities to upskill cannabis industry talent;

  • And building a sustainable organization that can develop into chapter subsets.
