Conditional Adult-Use Retail Dispensary (CAURD) Licenses will be the first adult-use retail dispensary licenses issued in New York State. The businesses awarded this license (licensees) will be the first to sell adult-use cannabis in New York State. So these are the licenses you need to get to sell cannabis legally in New York.

There are two sets of eligibility criteria. Applicants can choose to apply under the qualifying business criteria or the qualifying nonprofit criteria. Each has its own set of specific criteria you must mee to qualify, such as the business must be at le (for full details, visit the CAURD FAQ page here).
